The project involved expanding a cheese manufacturing plant by 5,918 square-feet while also purchasing a new brine system and microfiltration system in order to complete the modernization of the space. The facility was at capacity and not able to keep up with increasing demand. This resulted in the necessity for plant modernization and expansion to meet demand and increase purchasing of local cow, goat, and sheep milk from the company’s network of family farms.
