Robert W. Kraft, Chairman, President, and CEO of FirstPathway Partners (FPP)

Robert W. Kraft is Chairman, President, and CEO of FirstPathway Partners (FPP), the controlling entity of FirstPathway Community Development.  FPP raises invents capital from and invests on behalf of foreign citizens seeking United States permanent citizenship under Homeland Security’s EB-5 Regional Center Program where FPP has raised and deployed over $100 million of capital into disadvantaged communities since 2010.  Mr. Kraft has more than 40 years of international business experience at the Executive and Board levels.  He has participated in the EB-5 industry since 2006. 

Through FirstPathway Partners, Mr. Kraft has earned praise for his efforts driving economic growth in low-income communities severely impacted by high unemployment rates, and the job creation impact he has influenced throughout southeastern Wisconsin, under the Federal EB-5 Regional Center Program, where FPP has stimulated nearly 2000 new jobs since 2010.  He has been featured on television and radio internationally, as well as in newspapers of note from around the world.  He has been characterized as an entrepreneur, driving growth as a result of his ability to bridge international culture, trade, and economic exchange.

Mr. Kraft is a Board Member of IIUSA (Association to Invest in USA) and a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (the association overseeing the EB-5program).  Mr. Kraft serves as a Board Member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) World Trade Association (WTA), and co-Chair of the China Council, hosting many delegations of high-ranking Chinese officials.  He also serves on the boards of RBP Chemical, MTI Connect, Word of Hope Ministries, and the University of Wisconsin Madison China Leadership Board.

Mr. Kraft holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dan Wycklendt

Daniel J. Wycklendt, Executive Director and Member of the Governing Board

Daniel J. Wycklendt is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of FirstPathway Partners and has been with the Company since its formation in 2008.  In his role as COO, Mr. Wycklendt is responsible for strategic financial planning, capital structuring, and corporate vision for the Company.  Mr. Wycklendt has traveled globally, primarily to China, Korea, India, and the Middle East, speaking on foreign investment into the United States through the EB-5 program. 

Through his capital raising efforts that exceed $100 million, Mr. Wycklendt has managed the funding of numerous multi-million dollar projects primarily in low-income communities severely impacted by high unemployment rates in Wisconsin and around the United States.  These projects total in excess of $220 million in cost and have resulted in the creation of over 200 jobs.  Mr. Wycklendt has been recognized for his expertise in the EB-5 program and has spoken to many groups about the program and its uses.

In addition to raising funds for EB-5 investment, Mr. Wycklendt has also been successful in marketing other opportunities for foreign investors throughout the United States.  Mr. Wycklendt has helped form relationships between foreign governments, educational institutions, commerce organizations and private companies with their United States counterparts.  As a Milwaukee native with strong roots in Southeastern Wisconsin, Mr. Wycklendt has been involved in the funding of operating and real estate companies in the metro-Milwaukee area.

Mr. Wycklendt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in finance with a focus on real estate.

John W. Widmer

John W. Widmer, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Governing Board

John W. Widmer is Chief Financial Officer of RWK Global Holdings, a management company to a group of family controlled business in the financial, real estate, hospitality and printing industries, including FirstPathway Partners and FirstPathway Community Development. 

Prior to joining RWK, Mr. Widmer spent 17 years at Strong Financial Corporation where he held the positions of Treasurer and other senior management roles.  Strong was a parent holding company with businesses in the financial services industry, including investment management, brokerage, transfer agency, and 401(k) recordkeeping and managed up to $48 billion of assets.  While at Strong, Mr. Widmer was responsible for strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis, and managing banking relationships, as well as having significant involvement in operations, acquisitions & divestitures, and real estate transactions.

Mr. Widmer is a Certified Public Accountant who began his career at Arthur Andersen where he spent 10 years servicing audit and consulting clients.

Mr. Widmer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Jennifer G. Sherer

Jennifer G. Sherer, Community Outreach Director and Board Liaison

Jennifer G. Sherer is Senior Vice President of FirstPathway Partners.  Mrs. Sherer has assisted hundreds of immigrant investors through the employment-based fifth preference (EB-5) immigrant visa category regional center program.  During her tenure, she has led families from all over the world in obtaining United States Permanent Residency.  Mrs. Sherer is responsible for overseeing the full immigrant experience from initial inquiry through removal of conditions.  In addition, she has lectured groups from all over the world on the program.

Mrs. Sherer manages daily company affairs, communication with immigration attorneys, formation of new commercial enterprise, leadership of support staff, reporting and special projects.  She was also invaluable in the development of the original information management systems for the company and its affiliates.  Her top priority has always been creating a smooth and comfortable journey to the United States for her clients.

As the daughter of an immigrant, Mrs. Sherer understands the challenges potential immigrants face.  Her integrity, ethics, and knowledge echo this unique perspective.  Mrs. Sherer’s experience integrating immigrants into the American culture positions her well in leading the outreach efforts of FirstPathway Community Development.  Her continued outreach coordination with economic development agencies, nonprofit organizations, cultural preservation, community leaders, the arts, and the public, serve as a prelude to her current role. In her role as CDE, she will operate as the liaison between the management team and the Advisory Board, where she coordinates meetings with the AB and proactively seeks opportunity for outreach within Wisconsin and Illinois.

Mrs. Sherer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, earning both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communications.
